My drawing teacher is f*cking awesome. He took us to the Met to draw sketches from the greco-roman wing, using the statues and other art as our subjuects, but before we went, he had us do a bunch of portraits and figure studies with greco-roman themes.
This is one of my favorites of the day, and thought it's technically only a sketch, I'll be damned twice if the scraps section is going to take this one from me. This model had a really beautiful profile. His proportions- facially and throughout the rest of his body- were really good. It made him fun to draw. |
